How Patreon unlocks Premium
Journario does not take card payments itself. Premium is a Patreon membership that is linked to your Journario account.
1. Create a Journario account
Sign in with email or Google so we have an account to attach Premium to.
2. Become a member on Patreon
Join the Stories by Lauri membership on Patreon. That is the paid membership that unlocks Premium.
3. Connect Patreon to Journario
From this page or Profile, choose Connect with Patreon and approve the link. Premium turns on for this account once the membership is active.

Journario is the journal, mood and task app you are on now.

What happens at the free limit
Free includes 5 journal entries, 10 tasks and 5 tags. When you reach a limit:
- Nothing you already wrote is deleted or hidden. You can still read, edit and export it.
- Creating a new item of that type is blocked until you upgrade, or until you delete something and go back under the limit.
- Upgrade by connecting an active Patreon membership — then entries, tasks and tags are unlimited.

Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes, you can upgrade to Premium at any time. If you downgrade to the Free plan, you'll maintain access to Premium until the end of your billing period.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
When downgrading to Free, all your existing data remains accessible. You'll only be limited in creating new entries once you reach the Free plan limits (5 journal entries, 10 tasks and 5 tags). Nothing is deleted.
What happens when I reach the free limit?
You can still read, edit and export everything you already wrote. Creating a new journal entry, task or tag is blocked until you upgrade to Premium via Patreon — or delete something to go back under 5 entries / 10 tasks / 5 tags.
Do I get access to any other apps?
Yes. The same Patreon membership unlocks Journario Premium, Wryterio (the companion writing app), and the stories at laurimukkala.com. One membership, not three checkouts.
